What are Purpose of Life's objectives?
Purpose of Life has clear aims and objectives. We have a mission!
1. To support and help advance through life young people of all races and backgrounds, whilst being particularly sensitive to the needs of ethnic minority communities. This will involve:
Providing support and activities that develop their skills and capabilities, to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals
The provision of recreational activities for their social welfare, designed to improve their life situations
Advancing their education
Supporting causes that directly help, nurture or develop young people
2. To advance the education of children and young people in the UK or overseas, for the public's benefit
3. The prevention or relief of poverty in the UK or overseas, by providing grants, items, support and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty
Sponsor a child
As of August 2018, there were more than 6,000 Rohingya children living in the Cox’s Bazar camps; the parents of many of these children are no longer with us. They face food shortages, a lack of shelter; they have no means to provide even the basics they need to survive.
Purpose of Life has been involved with this project since 2017, since ethnic cleansing was carried out by the Myanmar government and monks. We aim to provide a comfortable environment for these children, where they don’t need to worry about food, shelter, clothing, medication and education. They need your help.
Sponsoring an orphan for the small sum of £30 a month will give these children all they need - from medication to a comfortable place to sleep. They're in desperate need. Please help them.
Purpose of Life has a strict 100% donations policy
Which means that every penny donated for charitable purposes will only be used for the actual cause.
For example, your £100 donation for Rohingya children will be used for water, food, clothing, shelter and education, not for expenses or administration. We're proud to cover these costs ourselves, or through separate funding, i.e. sponsors.
